How do I submit?

You must submit through the button that says "Click to Submit on FilmFreeway" or by going directly to FilmFreeway and locating our festival. We do not accept submissions outside of FilmFreeway.

Cosmic Film Festival’s vision is to bring passionate filmmakers of all backgrounds together with audiences eager to experience film beyond the mainstream movies. All of our Judges are industry professionals with successful track records.

What are the award categories?

 

 

 

 

 

*This ADD-ON category requires a prerequisite. You must have the same submission entered into one of our main award categories to qualify. If you only submit to an ADD-ON, we will contact you. You will have 2 weeks to enter into a main category. After that time, you may be disqualified if you don't meet the requirements.

What are the award prizes?

You will receive a Q&A interview that will be featured on our website and promoted through our Newsletter and Social Media. Full prize information is available through FilmFreeway.com.

Winners of Best Feature Screenplay, Best Short Screenplay, and Best Feature Film will receive a 4-month InkTip Pro Membership. As an InkTip Pro Member, thousands of filmmakers can find and read your scripts, and you'll be able to pitch directly to production companies every week. Can I enter more than once?

Yes! You are able to submit to additional categories or submit additional films.

What if I want to withdraw my film?

You may withdraw your film at anytime via FilmFreeway. However, entry fees are non-refundable as stated in our Rules & Terms.

Will you show my trailer?

Yes, we can! After the session has ended, winners who provide a trailer will have it featured on our website. You will be able to share our link through social media to promote your award winning film. If you'd like to opt out of having your trailer published, please contact us at CosmicFilmFestInfo@gmail.com. If you opt out, we will replace the trailer with your film poster.

Will you stream my movie?

At this time, we are incapable of streaming. We are a small online film festival with minimal staff. However, we are looking into ways to formally stream winning films in the future because we believe it is important to recognize each film. Until then, we focus on the promotion of each winner and finalist through interviews and social media recognition, as it is our mission to bring passionate indie filmmakers into the spotlight.
 

What are the fees used for?

Fees are used for the cost of staff and business, including but not limited to: Advertising, Design, Management and Customer Service.
